Our story
1988 - Rochon Legault LLP, a Chartered Professional Accountants firm specializing in services for small and medium-sized businesses, was founded by Gilles Rochon and Jean-Pierre Legault, two long-time acquaintances who studied together at HEC Montréal. The partners began their practice in a small office in Pointe-Claire.
1991-1992 - The firm relocated its operations to its current address at 16 835 Oakwood Street in Pierrefonds. To support the company’s growth, François Gauthier was appointed partner in 1992.
1994 - Taxation becomes an essential complement to the services offered to businesses. Rather than outsourcing, the partners decide to bring a tax specialist, Jake Charlton, onto the team.
2008 - The firm’s twentieth anniversary was marked by the arrival of two new partners, Sophie Roy and Ghislain Vincent. They joined the firm to help ensure its succession and continue its growth.
2013 - Jean-François Pichette joins the firm as a partner in 2013.
2020 - The firm opened a branch office in Bois-des-Filions in January 2020 when it acquired the client base of Gilles Blanchette, CPA.
2021 - In January 2021, Véronique Legault joined the firm as a partner.
2024 - It was in December 2024 that the firm relocated its Bois-des-Filion branch to larger offices at 3395 De La Pinière Boulevard in Terrebonne to support its growth.
